Bea Prentice- Rueda Marathon 2009 Oxford
This was a 60th birthday for dancer Bea Prentice who wanted to give something back to society on her birthday rather than receive presents. This was the best scheme she could come up with, using dance as a way to raise money for a worthy cause. In addition, doing the longest running rueda that has never been done.
World Rueda Marathon 2010 follows Bea's philanthropic ideas and aims to get as many Rueda Circles as possible working around the World for 12 hours raising funds for The Performing Arts First Foundation - a charity supporting aspiring performing arts students with mentorship and scholarships and Charities selected by World Rueda Marathon 2010 organisers.
We have organisors in the following countries - Argentina, New Zealand, Canada, France, Spain, Turkey, USA, England, Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, Nicaragua, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Ecuador, South Africa and United Arab Emirates...
If you'd like to part of the World First fundraising event contact - petera@worldsalsatours.com for further information.
Please feel free to forward this to all and any of your rueda friends, colleagues and family.
